Mine was the vampire diaries 🖤🩸I didn't realise books could be interesting. In school, I was stuck on boring book that had no spark or enjoyment, and it completely blew my mind 🤯 that books could be an escape from reality ✨️

Now I can't believe that 13 year old girl had no idea that she was changing our life just by picking up that one book. 📚♥️

It's truly a miracle that I have been able to dodge the spoilers for Onyx Storm, holding out long enough to keep it for my first read on holiday 🏖

I'm a big fan of the Empyrean series 🔥absolutely devouring fourth wing and enjoying iron flame but I was crossing my fingers Rebecca yarros would produce another book that will keep me reading till 2am 👀 too hooked to be able to put it down.

And she did it. I love Onyx Storm, probably more than iron flame. It doesn't feel like a filler book, and I can’t wait for book 4 📖✨️

If anyone has still been holding out on this series I'd highly recommend it's an easy fantasy book to lose yourself in with an amazing female main character, gorgeous morally grey love interest 🖤 and some very interesting side characters who you will fall in love with plus dragons ( I've got a soft spot for grumpy Tairn)

I think my favourite of the series is still Fourth wing, but I'd give this book a solid…

With all the books on my tbr I should be reading I’ve instead given into the urge to re-read fourth wing ⚔️ 🔥 I hope I like it as much as the first time as I found iron flame a tad disappointing, I still enjoyed reading it but it didn’t keep me hooked or have the same magic as fourth wing.

A little book series review of the nightborn duet...⚔️🩸🦇

These books were beautifully written with vivid imagery and a badass fmc! 🔥 The serpent and the wings of night was definitely my favourite out of the series.

The relationship between the fmc and her father was the highlight of these books, but I also loved the mmc and the deadly trails. 😍

I'd definitely recommend reading the nightborn series, and I will be giving this series a re-read! 📚✨️⚔️

I really liked this book! I haven't read anything like it before, the story has a good mix of horror, sci-fi and romance that kept me intrigued. 🩸👽❤️

I love the plot twists, I found the book very creepy and full of suspense, if you love films like Alien and Event Horizon you need to pick this up!

Keira has always had an active imagination with her head in the clouds making up fantastical worlds filled with mystery and magic.

She was never a big fan of reading until she turned 13 and needed an escape from her chronic fatigue & fibromyalgia diagnosis.
